Frailty

Upon the marrow of broken life
Resting in timeless space
With heart exposed in frail twilight
A decayed temple grasping tightly one final night

A Vast expanse of harrowing abyss
Nestling amongst the dying memories
Between the wanton emissary of desire
And the never-ending past... clouded and black

Decrepit and useless
torn limb from naked limb
Resounding echoes of torment
Forms from within

Coldness from years of deceit
Discomfort embittered in tongues of flame
Where ability lies within a name

Bold natured, Insatiable, immense-
Heart rending, mind bending, rest
Never ending, expunging, death.

Dilating entropic utopia
As delirium tremors from within
A beckoning madness
Amongst glass-covered layers
Secluded and repressed

Missionary recursion beset in birth
A thought: torn page from lifeless page
Flesh delighted in mindless mirth
Concocted and depreciating with age

Encroaching mist of dying days
Long since passed-
The times of beauty

Dreams pass on by
Streams of blissful-crimson skies
Each day bids a silent farewell
As the passage closes for all

As we lie down in the river
Baptized in icy tears,
The benign winter shadows
Expunge all our fears

As the water becomes one with the sky
We dream for an eternity
And silently die
